All About Music Hall Stealth Turntable

The Music Hall Stealth Turntable is a game changer for vinyl enthusiasts. The first direct drive turntable from Music Hall, the Stealth features a brushless, low-torque motor that automatically stops running at the end of a record. But that's not all - this 24-pound turntable is built with an unusually heavy, multi-layer and well-damped chassis, and large, viscous-elastomer damped height-adjustable feet that attenuate external vibrations.

With touch-activated speed controls for ease of use, the Stealth is a 3-speed direct drive turntable that comes complete with an S-shaped tonearm, a detachable headshell, and a factory-mounted, precision aligned Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge. You can adjust the VTA of the aluminum tonearm while the record is playing, and the platter is a hefty 4-pound, elastomer-damped aluminum construction.

The Stealth is not just a beautiful turntable - it's a sound foundation for your vinyl collection. The vibration-damping rubber platter mat and feet work together to reduce unwanted resonance and noise, while the Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge delivers a clear, detailed sound. And when you're done listening, simply use the touch controls to stop the motor, or let the automatic standby mode kick in after 20 minutes of non-use. The Stealth also comes with removable RCA cables and a cloth dust cover for easy storage. Overall, the Music Hall Stealth Turntable is a top-of-the-line choice for vinyl enthusiasts looking for a direct drive design and exceptional performance.

Hegel H120 Integrated Amp

Standing on the shoulders of GIANTS, the H120 carries forward the proud history of HEGEL amplifiers. The multi award winning designs that over the years have dazzled listeners with their combination of raw dynamics and delicate naturality. The H120 carries that legacy with it, but in a smaller and more affordable package.

"If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants" - said Isaac Newton in 1675. Without comparing ourselves to Isaac, we claim the same for the H120. It is a relatively affordable integrated amplifier that would not have been possible, were it not for its brothers leading up to its design. The Hegel H120 is a small step up from our entry level amplifiers in terms of price, but it is (and we refrain from the obvious quotes here) a solid step up in features and performance. The significantly larger power supply creates a more dynamic sound and for combining with large loudspeakers presenting more challenging drive loads. The digital section is taken directly from its bigger siblings, and this is really the core of the H120. We see the typical user of the H120 as people who are into digital music streaming. For the money we claim that the H120 does that better than anything else.

The digital-to-analog conversion is of the highest quality in the H120, with technology crafted from the ground up by Hegel. We take full control of the digital data stream, using technology developed from our absolute reference products, ensuring digital music delivery in its purest form. The result for you is perfectly natural sound, without any artifacts that make you want to turn the volume down. The H120 has Apple Airplay, Spotify Connect, IP Control, Control4 and upnp streaming. More features are already in progress and will be offered at no cost, using the easy software update functionality. All inputs are configurable for volume bypass, so you can integrate in a home theater or with (for example) a Bluesound or Sonos. Whatever you want, you can do it with the H120.

The H120 uses the Hegel SoundEngine 2 amplifier platform allowing a damping factor higher than 2000 together with extremely low distortion levels. Details about the SoundEngine can be found on hegel.com. In many ways it works like a noise cancelling headphone. It compares the output of the amplifier with the input. It detects all the sound pollution (distortion), and plays this forward into the speaker output, but in reverse phase. Like 1 minus 1 equals 0. It cancels out all pollution in real time, leaving you with only the most natural sound. The SoundEngine technology has been developed over more than 30 years, from conception to where it is now. Millions of dollars were invested in initial development. It is what makes possible the sound performance for the money in the H120.

If all you did was scan lists of specs and features, you might conclude that Hegel Music Systems’ H120 integrated amplifier-DAC is overpriced. That would be a mistake. The H120 is more expensive than even comparably specced integrateds. But measurements are unreliable indicators of sound quality or build quality, and in both areas the Hegel H120 delivers a lot. This component should keep delivering satisfaction not only for years, but for decades.

A LITTLE HERESY IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL

The Heresy IV is quite possibly the speaker champion of the world

Whether it’s for your burgeoning vinyl collection, home theater or whatever, the Heresy IV will knock your socks off.

DESIGNED & ASSEMBLED IN THE USA.

With cabinetry that is proudly handcrafted in Hope, Arkansas for over 50 years, the Klipsch Heresy IV speaker is a testament to the quality Klipsch demands from each and every of its audio products.

Here’s to 50 more years of Heresy.

WHAT’S NEW?

A REAR PORT

For the first time in its long legacy, the Heresy now features a rear port – improving low-frequency extension by almost 10Hz, for room-filling bass.

Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the all-new Heresy IV ports allow for the most efficient, fastest air transfer in their class, which reduces port noise for punchier low frequencies. Klipsch Tractrix ports have custom designed inner flares that help reduce air turbulence entering the port. Less turbulent air helps reduce port noise for cleaner, more powerful bass.

In addition to delivering smooth, dynamic and low distortion sound, the Heresy IV is available in a high-quality Natural Cherry, Distressed Oak, American Walnut, or Satin Black Ash wood veneer finish. A slant riser base is included for floor placement that can be removed for cabinet installations.

Because of its size, the Heresy offers the greatest degree of placement flexibility in the Heritage series. First introduced in 1957, this three-way horn-loaded loudspeaker is still able to deliver the awe-inspiring Klipsch sound that our fans around the world know and love.

DESIGNED AND MADE IN THE USA USING DOMESTIC AND IMPORTED COMPONENTS

The Klipsch Heresy IV speaker is a testament to the quality that Klipsch demands from each and every one of its audio products. Remember great sound? We do, too. The Klipsch Heresy enclosure is made in the USA, by proud craftsmen in Hope, Arkansas, just like Paul W. Klipsch (PWK) intended.

COMPACT, THREE-WAY LOUDSPEAKER

The Heresy was originally introduced in 1957 with a compact three-way design utilizing a 12” woofer and horn-loaded midrange and tweeter. In 2006, the Heresy III was upgraded with a more powerful woofer and a bi-wire network as well as midrange and tweeter compression drivers, and features a titanium diaphragm for smooth and accurate definition.

DRIVERS

The Heresy IV incorporates an all new K-702 midrange compression driver, featuring a polyimide diaphragm for exceptional detail and dynamics. The K-702 midrange is mated to the K-704 Tractrix® horn, providing you with a wide coverage pattern and smooth response throughout the listening area.

The K-107-TI titanium diaphragm high frequency driver features an all new wide dispersion phase plug, providing exceptionally even high frequency dispersion throughout the listening area, making for a wider, more accurate sweet spot.

NETWORK

The Heresy IV has been completely revoiced from its predecessor, utilizing premium componentry in an all new high-fidelity network — minimizing electrical degradation throughout the circuitry — for truer to life sound with best in class efficiency and power handling. The new network draws from the classic three-way steep slope design of the legendary Klipschorn, La Scala and Cornwall speakers.

TRACTRIX® PORTS

For the first time in its long legacy, the Heresy now features a rear port – improving low frequency extension by almost 10Hz, for room filling bass. Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the all new Heresy IV ports allow for the most efficient, fastest air transfer in their class, which reduces port noise for punchier low frequencies. Klipsch Tractrix ports have custom designed inner flares that help reduce air turbulence entering the port. Less turbulent air helps reduce port noise for cleaner, more powerful bass.

BI-AMP INPUT PANEL AND BINDING POSTS

The Heresy’s premium, aluminum input panel accommodates large, high-quality speaker cables. Strong, versatile and quality binding posts provide the capability for bi-wiring or bi-amping. The quality continues with Audioquest Type 4 with Star-Quad Geometry internal wiring featuring carbon-loaded insulation, nitrogen-injected PE and solid long-grain copper conductors ensuring the purest signal transfer from input cup to crossover network to drivers.

HIGH EFFICIENCY

Nothing in the industry sounds as big or is as efficient as the Heresy, given its relatively compact size. This model offers the greatest degree of placement flexibility of the Heritage series. The bonus slant riser base can be removed for cabinet installations.

BOOK-MATCHED WOOD VENEER

Klipsch only uses book-matched wood veneers for the Heritage series. The veneer leaves are kept in order as they are delicately sliced from the timber and precisely arranged to provide a mirror image at the splice joint — like turning the pages of a book. This gives each speaker an aesthetically appealing and consistent appearance that is treasured more than any other cut of wood veneer.

BUILT TO LAST

While each and every component of the Heresy IV is built to last. Klipsch has always recognized the unique and critical role of a loudspeaker’s cabinet in the sound reproduction process. From the craftsmen in Hope, AR to the engineers in Indianapolis, IN, Klipsch has always put an extraordinary emphasis on cabinet design. The Heresy enclosure is assembled using only the highest-grade adhesives and fasteners. The riser base can be removed for cabinet installation or placement on optional stands.

REL HT/1003 MKII 10" Powered Subwoofer

The HT/1003 MKII packs massive power in a sleek, compact design—playing TWICE as loud as the original. Earth-shaking performance at an unbeatable value.

  • 300-Watt Class D Amplifier
  • 10" CarbonGlas™ Driver
  • Body is finished with a line-grained composite
  • Home Theatre Ready

But Your Wallet or Your Room Says No

Perhaps the most dramatic update in the entire HT range is delivered by the remarkable HT/1003 MKII. In theatre, nothing impresses like raw output, even if you don’t use all of it. HT/1003 MKII’s increase in usable headroom confers an ease to the sound that lesser designs can’t compete with. Here, we realize a full 10 dB higher output (that’s twice as loud) over its forbear. As with its larger brothers, HT/1003 MKII receives the full suite of MKII upgrades. First, a higher secondary filter allows energy to extend further up the sonic spectrum means explosions are more savage than ever. Next, an all-analogue PerfectFilter™ lifts and extends the deepest bass. Additionally, an analogue subsonic filter filters out the signals that can lead to damage below 20Hz. All this is packaged in the same sexy, serious look that blends perfectly with our Serie T/x and S for use in HT-3D systems. Also, improvements to driver, amplifier, and filters means this latest version is now a seriously musical sub.

Designer Clothing

The sexy new cabinetry is bespoke, with new textures, proportions, and finishing touches previously unseen in the category. Lower, sleeker cabinetry borrows proportions drawn from our new Reference models. Through experimentation over the years, we have found that this results in a faster, deeper presentation of bass—all while looking smashing. The eye is immediately drawn to the top panel, which is finished in 5 coats of hand-polished piano black lacquer. A discreet REL logo floats within the top layer of lacquer, whilst the body of the cabinet is clad in horizontally streaked, line-grained composite. The entire affair looks expensive, bespoke, and tastefully restrained. Also, it can be combined with either Serie T/x or Serie S in large, fully-immersive REL HT/3D™ setups.
